Our Geographical Focus
Our target geographic locations are Nyeri, Laikipia and Meru counties which have significantly high solar capacity and are among Kenya’s food baskets.
Ascend Energy’s primary target market includes small and medium-scale farmers seeking affordable power solutions for efficient agricultural production, processing, and transportation of farm products. This encompasses green fertilizers, solar irrigation pumps, and cold storage to reduce post-harvest losses. We also offer residential solutions, including solar lights, security lights, radios, induction cookstoves, and solar shower systems, to enhance everyday living.
These are areas where a large infrastructure corridor connects Ethiopia to Kenya by road. The target location also hosts large-scale horticultural and flower farms for export which create a potential market for large-scale solar solutions as they seek to adhere to global decarbonization regulations.
